Volunteer

Disaster volunteerism plays a crucial role in helping communities recover from the devastating effects of natural disasters and emergencies. Volunteers bring invaluable skills, compassion, and dedication, working alongside first responders and organizations to provide support and resources to those in need. Whether it’s after a hurricane, flood, wildfire, or earthquake, volunteers step up to help with immediate needs such as debris removal, food distribution, and shelter management, as well as long-term recovery efforts including rebuilding homes and providing emotional support. The spirit of volunteerism not only aids in physical recovery but also fosters a sense of community resilience and solidarity, reminding us of the strength that lies in collective action during times of crisis.

Get Involved

There are a dozens of volunteer organizations within Cache County. We suggest that those interested in volunteerism find one or more of these organizations that they can stay active in. Most of these organizations are also active in disasters. Regular participation in these organizations benefits our community daily, as well as during times of disaster.

Watch here for lists of organizations you can participate in.
